We have an immediate opening for an apprentice Volkswagen and Audi mechanic. This is a temporary position with excellent training and advancement into a permanent job as a trained journeyman mechanic.

- Temporary, 40 hours, leading to permanent
- Schedule
- Mon to Thu, 7 AM to 6 PM
- Days off
- Fri, Sat, Sun. Every week.
- Pay structure
- Hourly or flat rate, whichever is greater

Requirements
- Some metric hand tools
- Valid class C or greater Georgia driver’s license
- Relatively clean driving record
- Dependable transportation to and from the workplace
- Ability to read and comprehend the English language
- Willingness to submit to drug screening

- There is no smoking and no chewing tobacco anywhere on the premises.
- We require a motor vehicle report.

Let’s manage expectations Learning where everything lives in a shop takes a month or more. The tools, the materials, the bolt bins, the chemicals, the laptops. For the first three weeks almost half your time goes to doing without something or asking somebody where it is. That is not a measure of your skill and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It is a good part of why the attendance guarantee exists. You get paid while you learn the building and while you learn the cars we work on. Get good at doing the work, then get faster.
