Master mechanic
You take the jobs nobody else can close, you need no supervision, and you bring the rest of the floor along with you.
A master has worked in the field for a number of years. You understand all the technology on the cars you work on, you are analytical in your thinking, and you study your craft constantly. You can properly troubleshoot almost anything because you know how it works. Your background lets you understand new technologies quickly and see how they differ from previous technologies, because you have experience with both.
You require no supervision, and you will mentor other mechanics of every level. That last part is not a nice-to-have here. It is a real part of the job, and it is reflected in what the position pays.
Our shop is climate-controlled and we only work on VW and Audi, so the parts you need are usually already on the shelf. Four ten-hour days, Monday through Thursday. Forty hours, no weekends, and a three-day weekend every single week.

Let’s manage expectations Learning where everything lives in a shop takes a month or more. The tools, the materials, the bolt bins, the chemicals, the laptops. For the first three weeks almost half your time goes to doing without something or asking somebody where it is. That is not a measure of your skill and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It is a good part of why the attendance guarantee exists. You get paid while you learn the building and while you learn the cars we work on. Get good at doing the work, then get faster.
Our goal is to keep VWs driving like new. We have devoted customers, and they depend on our commitment and expertise to keep their cars dependable. That is a trust we will not violate. If you have what it takes, you can be part of this team.
